Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park, the popular Gloucestershire family attraction renowned for its commitment to rare breed conservation, will welcome visitors for a brand-new attraction as part of the 2025 season. On Saturdays 1 and 8 March, visitors will experience a unique behind-the-scenes look at the lambing season – this year anticipating over 600 newborns – as well as a farm fresh meal from 2024 Foodie award winner restaurant The Ox Shed.
What is Lambing After Dark?
Lambing After Dark is an exclusive experience which offers a bespoke look at their lambing season as they open their doors after hours, hosted by their knowledgeable farm team. Plus, included in the ticket price is a main meal from their Ox Shed's restaurant menu of farm favourites. Experience the wonder of new life on the farm and join them on their journey in protecting the future of rare and native British breeds.
A Warm Welcome & Cosy Dining
Arrive at 5pm and be greeted by their friendly host before settling into the restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious meal prepared by their talented chefs.
Farmer Q&A Session
During your evening, one of their experienced farmers will share insights into the lambing season. Learn about the challenges and triumphs of caring for expectant ewes and their newborn lambs, and take part in a fascinating Q&A.
Late Night Lambing
Step inside the barn and see newborn lambs taking their first wobbly steps or even experience a live birth. This rare opportunity offers a behind-the-scenes look at one of the farm's most exciting seasons.
Relax at the Ox Shed Bar
