Cheltenham Racecourse Caravan Club Site

Prestbury Park, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 4SH

Pitch up at this Cavarvan Club site on the edge of Cheltenham and have the town centre right on your doorstep. Walk the one and half miles to the town centre through the beautiful Pittville Park or you can even use the park and ride to save your feet.

The site welcomes non-members and offers a variety of pitches with over three quarters of pitches being hardstanding. 

Cotswold Farm Park Campsite

Located 15 miles from Cheltenham town centre, pitch your tent in the heart of the Cotswolds and have the fun of the farm park all in one place. If that wasn’t enough, when you are a guest at the campsite you are also given free Farm Park entry and have the chance to take part in evening activities, exclusive for campers!

As well as being a place for learning, National Star College offers beautiful wooden camping pods so you can enjoy the outside without having to pitch your own tent.  Situated close to the Cotswold Way, it provides a great base for avid walkers.  Choose from their wooden glamping pods, yurt or your very own Hobbit Hole, The Shire House.

Situated in the village of Ullenwood, you are less than 5 miles from Cheltenham’s shops and restaurants. If you want to surround yourself with nature why not visit the nearby Leckhampton Hill just one mile away, or stay onsite and star gaze around a fire pit.

Briarfields Motel and Touring Park

Situated just two miles from Cheltenham, Briarfields offers an adults only motel and camping site which is open all year round.  As well as perfect grassy pitches for tents and hard standing touring pitches, you can also take your pick of one of their spacious glamping pods or an en-suite room as part of the onsite motel.

You can also take advantage of a regular bus (every 10 minutes during the daytime and every 20/30 minutes throughout the night) that leaves from right outside the park taking you to Cheltenham and Gloucester. 

Regency Court Park

Having welcomed new owners, Regency Court Park offers a relaxed atmosphere just three miles from the centre of Cheltenham.  There are 50 hardstanding pitches all with electric hook-up makes Regency Court a great choice for caravans and motorhomes. It’s a pet friendly site and there are lovely walks just across the road to entertain your furry friends.

Hayles Fruit Farm

Nestled in the picturesque countryside you’ll find Hayles Fruit Farm which has been in the Harrel family since the 1950’s. As well as visiting the Farm Shop and Orchard Tea Room selling local produce, you can also stay overnight.

There are pitches with electric hook-ups suitable for caravans and motorhomes and a section dedicated to tents which offer limited hook-ups.  If you want camping without the effort of pitching your tent, book yourself in to one of the Bell Tents which benefits from a wood-burning stove. You can even take advantage of catering arrangements from the tea room or collect a food hamper on your arrival.

Regents Park Stansby Touring Park, Cheltenham

Just minutes off the M5 you’ll find this small family-run site.  With grass and hardstanding pitches its perfect for tents, caravans and motorhomes.  Being on the edge of Cheltenham you can escape into the country with ease or be in the town centre within minutes.  If you want to avoid using the car, the park and ride is just a five minute walk away.

Tucked just outside the village of Winchcombe this campsite is the perfect base to explore Cheltenham and the Cotswolds. If you are an avid walker there are plenty of routes to pick from including the Winchcombe Way – a 42-mile figure of eight route that runs next to the campsite.

As well as the usual site facilities, take advantage of the site shop that sells a variety of local produce. If you don’t have your camping gear at the ready, the site also has wooden lodges and safari tents to choose from as well.

Croft Farm Water Park, Tewkesbury

Croft Farm Water Park isn’t just a campsite.  With their very own lake you can fill your stay with watersports activities and tuition from sailing to windsurfing.  The site welcomes guests of all ages and the majority of the site is wheelchair and pushchair friendly.

The park offers a selection on grass and hard standing pitches as well as a some less formal areas perfect for group bookings.  If you want to ditch the tent why not book one of their camping pods, cabins or lodges – some even have private hot tubs!

Gloucester Camping at Court Farm

This intimate site offers pitches for both caravans and tent. It has become a labour of love for the husband and wife that look after the site, and they look forward to sharing what has become “their garden”.  This site offers peace and quiet and is less than 10 miles from Cheltenham where you can explore all the town has to offer.

The Willows, Tewkesbury

This family run campsite can be found at the end of the runway at RAF Mildenhall.  RAF Mildenhall is operated by the US Air Force and has a wide range of aircraft taking off and landing so is perfect for plane spotting.
