The Visit Cheltenham team recently had the pleasure of staying overnight at Neptune Apartments, brand new luxury self-catering apartments located on the iconic Promenade in Regency Cheltenham town centre.
Based in a newly refurbished listed period building, next to the Municipal Offices and overlooking the Long Gardens, these spectacular family-run apartments offer an indulgent stay. The location is perfect whether you wish to dine in or dine out. Guests have the freedom to take advantage of the well-equipped kitchens and dine in style overlooking the town centre; or for those who prefer to be wined and dined, within a few steps you have every restaurant, bar and café in Cheltenham town centre to choose from.

The website promises guests will be wowed as soon as they step foot inside the entrance hall, and it certainly lives up to this promise. The high ceilings and timeless, luxurious décor provide an unforgettable first impression. Before we had even opened the room to our apartments, we were already wishing we could extend our one night stay!
Neptune Apartments has opened with four individually designed apartments, with a total of twelve coming soon. All twelve apartments are for two persons and aptly named after villages and towns in the Cotswolds. Bookings have just opened and there is still availability for Race Week in March. (Please note Neptune Apartments are for adults only, normally with a three night minimum stay including Race Week).
The photos below show The Tetbury and The Snowshill. Both spectacular apartments with traditional, timeless features. We found the beds were super comfy with soft, luxurious bedding. Every feature has been thought through carefully by the owners, from the key pad entry to the underfloor heating, high spec coffee machine, his & her sinks and natural skincare products provided from a local Cotswolds producer, ANI Skincare.
Photos show the dual aspect views from The Tetbury, overlooking the Promenade to the front and the Royal Crescent from the bedroom...
Final thoughts - If you are looking for the luxury of a town centre 5-star hotel but with the complete freedom to do your own thing, we can thoroughly recommend Neptune Apartments.
