Waghornes Butcher and La Boulangerie Artisan open their doors at Dunkertons

Dunkertons is blurring the lines between retail, leisure, food, drinks, and events in one integrated, social hub destination.

This autumn celebrates the much-anticipated recent opening of La Boulangerie Artisan and Waghornes Butchers at Dunkerton Park. These are two of the best-in-class local organic food offerings and will add another reason to visit the retail outlets, and further validate the passion of Julian and Jade Dunkerton, to bring the highest-quality local food retailers to the community through the existing Dunkertons Organic Cider Shop.

The Dunkerton’s integrated organic street food proposition and shopping experience will collaborate with Daylesford food market, introducing another reason to visit and a one stop shop for organic excellence.  The drink, leisure, and events, on London Road, is already a firm favourite with locals and families looking to relax and unwind from the bustle of the town.

Its ambience, ease of parking and beautiful, sunny garden provides a haven and enjoyable escape for discerning diners and shoppers looking for a unique experience. The array of local artisanal foods and the chance to explore the world of Dunkertons certified organic ciders from the shop or the much-loved Taproom, whilst lingering longer for lunch or dinner, with the highly popular Bombay Street Food Company, Sourdough Pizza Co. and Ronnies stylish street food outlets, is fast becoming the town’s ‘go-to’ food and leisure destination.

To celebrate the opening of Waghornes Artisan Butchers and La Boulangerie Artisan Bakery, Dunkerton's will be offering £5 special-flame cooked menus on Friday 11 November from 3pm to 7pm.

Waghornes Butchers

A family-run butcher and delicatessen with a reputation for sourcing superior-quality products of high-welfare, farm-reared meat, and game. Complementing this feast of the senses is a variety of delicatessen products and locally made pies with a farm-to-table philosophy at the centre of everything they stand for. By popular demand, a new range of premium-grade organic meats is launching in the next few weeks.

Dunkertons Organic Cider Shop

Dedicated to showcasing the best of British organic produce with a range of award-winning organic ciders created in the cidery behind the shop. This is home to a vast selection of organic British charcuterie, organic olives and antipasti, and a great selection of organic cheeses, many of which are locally made. The perfect environment to showcase our award-winning organic ciders side by side on the bar.

Sourdough Pizza Co.

Sourdough Pizza Co. at Dunkertons, in collaboration with Bella Mia Pizza, is all about its unique pizza dough, which is homemade from an age-old recipe that remains a tightly guarded family secret. Whipped up and served by a passionate team, the Neapolitan pizzas are hand-stretched to order and freshly cooked in 90 seconds, made using only the best ingredients, in a wood-fired oven.

Ronnies

The vision of Ronnie Bonetti, The Lucky Onion Executive Chef and Culinary Director. This is authentic Americana-style cuisine at its finest. Tuck into burger stacks, wings, nachos, signature fries and all the comfort food favourites.

Bombay Street Food Company

Bombay Street Food Company has collaborated with Cheltenham’s top Indian restaurant Koloshi to bring the spice route to Dunkertons. Showcasing handmade dishes based on centuries-old traditions and passed down through the generations, get ready for a journey of regional subcontinental cooking, where fresh produce meets excellence.
