Cowley Manor will soon turn a new page and enter the next chapter of its life when it reopens under new ownership, the Paris-based Experimental Group, on Tuesday 4 July.
The Grade II listed property is home to 31 bedrooms complemented by a spa, restaurant, cocktail lounge, library, mudroom and spacious living rooms, all of which have been extensively refurbished since it closed for renovations in January 2023.
The newly updated Cowley Manor website has revealed its new bold look, with bedrooms and suites designed by Parisan interior designer, Dorothee Meilichzon and ‘inspired by each chapter of Cowley Manor book spanning 1695 until today, carefully weaving together classical inspiration with contemporary elements.’
The new restaurant & bar at Cowley Manor Experimental promises to be a place to celebrate a milestone, or simply enjoy a meal to remember. Celebrated British chef Jackson Boxer has crafted a menu that reflects the local area, with a nod to French cuisine.
Local produce will be at the forefront, highlighting some of Gloucestershire’s finest offerings. With stylish interiors it has been designed to ‘encourage diners to return to again and again, for dinner, lunch and cocktails in between.’
The popular C-Side Spa, with spectacular 15m outdoor pool, will welcome back eager spa enthusiasts with a range of holistic therapies including massages, facials and exfoliating wraps. The spa interior has also been given a fresh makeover, with the iconic floor to ceiling glass walls offering views of the surrounding woods remaining in place.
From Tuesday 4 July, bedrooms at Cowley Manor’s main house are available to book for overnight stays. The new restaurant and C-Side spa are also available for reservations.
