This year's Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival, 21st, 22nd and 23rd June 2024, in Montpellier Gardens, is just what we all need after a cold winter indoors; be sure not to miss it.

At the forefront of the festivities are the local chefs, who will dazzle audiences with their innovative cooking techniques and showcase the bounty of the region and why the Cotswolds is a foodie’s destination for fine food.

Giuseppe Dell’Anno – From Italy with Love: My Treasured Recipes.
Whipping up an admirable array of cakes, cookies, and pastries on the 2021 series of The Great British Bake Off – impressing the judges so much he was crowned the winner. The Italian baker – who is now based in Cheltenham – has written two cookbooks, dedicating the books to bakes of his homeland.

George Egg - Snack Hacker
What this man has to say about pimping Pot Noodles, Greggs pasties and Fray Bentos pies will blow your mind. George is a comedian and cook known for his sell-out anarchic theatre shows where he makes food using unconventional appliances and unexpected methods and the creator and presenter of online sensation ‘Snack Hacker’, an ongoing series of short cookery films demonstrating imaginative recipes and innovative food hacks.

International Wine talks and Tastings, an opportunity to sample some of the best wine from around the world, tastings include wines from South Africa, New Zealand, Italy, France, and England.

Cheese masterclasses, a cheese lover's dream to sample the delights on offer in our masterclasses hosted by two leading cheese experts.
Patrick McGuigan, a cheese writer, and teacher, who has travelled from the Swiss Alps to the pastures of Vermont to interview the world’s best cheesemakers and cheesemongers.
Emma Young – cheese expert, cheesemonger, and international cheese awards judge.

Weber BBQ Stage, with a host of grill masters lining up to share their secrets for grilling, join us and discover the best flavours and techniques for your summer Weber BBQ.

Live music offers some of the best bands around. Join friends and family and relax to the music with a glass of award winning perfectly chilled English sparkling wine from Woodchester Valley Winery.

Cotswolds Barbecue Championships – If you love BBQs then this is for you. Watch teams as they compete to win one of the following two competitions. Freestyle Barbecue competition. It’s a new take on competition barbecue. All dishes must be cooked over fire and one person must be able to carry the platter. Other than that, it’s freestyle! Kansas City Barbecue Society (USA), KCBS Master Competition - a Master Series Sanctioned Contest requires the teams to cook 4 types of meat.

The Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival offers an exciting day out for children with street theatre and traditional Punch and Judy. There is live music throughout the weekend, and you can buy a range of delicious foods, pickles, sweets, and alcoholic items from over 120 exhibitors.

Tickets are available on pre-order from just £8 for an adult ticket. Children under 16 go free, provided a ticket-purchasing adult accompanies them. Pre-booking for the Masterclasses is essential.
