Wingstop UK’s arrival brings a distinctive flair to The Brewery Quarter’s mix of highquality dining options and promises to be a hit with local residents and visitors seeking a flavourful experience. Originally founded in the US in 1994, Wingstop launched in the UK in 2018 and will have 57 sites across the country by the end of 2024, including major cities such as London, Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, and Birmingham.
Diners can look forward to Wingstop UK’s signature menu of wings, tenders, burgers, and sides—all freshly cooked to order and hand-sauced-and-tossed in a choice of ten distinctive flavours ranging from classic Lemon Pepper to the fan-favourite Hickory Smoked BBQ. Milkshakes, freestyle drinks or Camden Town Beer, as well as a churro selection for dessert are also on offer.
The brand’s success has established it as a sought-after destination for diners seeking an authentic, personalised, and flavour packed experience.
Nikki Kontarines, Director of Martin Commercial Properties – Managing Agents of the scheme – said, “We’re delighted to welcome Wingstop UK to The Brewery Quarter and are proud to have secured such a popular brand for the final unit within the scheme. Wingstop UK’s decision to join us reflects our ongoing commitment to curating a destination that offers a vibrant mix of dining, entertainment, and retail options in the heart of Cheltenham. Wingstop UK’s arrival is highly anticipated, and we’re confident it will be a fantastic addition to our diverse community of venues.”
Chris Sherriff, CEO of Lemon Pepper Holdings, master franchisee, Wingstop UK said: “The Brewery Quarter stood out to us as an ideal location due to its dynamic mix of offerings and high foot traffic. We’re excited to bring our signature wings, bold flavours and exceptional service to Cheltenham, where we’re confident that locals and visitors alike will enjoy the Wingstop UK experience. We look forward to becoming part of this vibrant community and contributing to The Brewery Quarter’s success.”
Dominic Brady, Partner of KLM Retail, agents of the scheme said: “We are delighted to have agreed terms with Wingstop UK, who beat off significant competition from other F&B operators for the space. This letting reinforces the Brewery Quarter as one of the leading mixed use destinations in the country and we are sure that Wingstop will be a huge success with the local population when open in 2025”.
Following quickly on the heels of recent openings Go Outdoors and Menkind, Wingstop UK will open to Cheltenham diners in Summer 2025, positioned between Søstrene Grene and F45. The new unit completes the tenant lineup, reinforcing The Brewery Quarter’s standing as a leading destination in the area.
