The Sandford Park Alehouse in the town centre was winner of the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) national pub of the year and is home to a quality choice of real ale. Housed in a Grade II listed building, the décor combines old and new, and is home to a popular outdoor courtyard where people enjoy a beer under the trees. Since opening in 2013, the pub has served more than 1,400 draught ales on tap, and has more than 20 beers on draught at any one time.
Other firm favourites in Cheltenham include The Brewhouse and Kitchen in The Brewery Quarter, No.131, The Tavern, The Old Courthouse, The Vine, The Swan and The Railway.

Cocktail Bars in Cheltenham
If you are after a night (or afternoon) of cocktails, you really will be spoiled for choice! The Alchemist Bar and Restaurant has wowed locals and visitors for years with instagram worthy drinks served in all manner of theatrical vessels. While Mr Cambray's Curiosity, with it's multitude of uniquely themed rooms, promises to add a bit of panache to your cocktail evening.
Meanwhile Turtle Bay, a Caribbean restaurant also has a brilliant cocktail menu, as does Late Night Coco, and Botanica.

Wine & Spirit Bars in Cheltenham
If you’re after speciality bars, there are many to tempt you in Cheltenham. John Gordon’s in Montpellier has two bars either side of a courtyard; one specialising in Whisky and Wine, and the other specialising in Gin. Meanwhile Montpellier Wine Bar has been a Cheltenham favourite for years, with its iconic façade at the top of Montpellier.
