The Sandford Park Alehouse in the town centre was winner of the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) national pub of the year and is home to a quality choice of real ale. Housed in a Grade II listed building, the décor combines old and new, and is home to a popular outdoor courtyard where people enjoy a beer under the trees. Since opening in 2013, the pub has served more than 1,400 draught ales on tap, and has more than 20 beers on draught at any one time.

The Alchemist Bar and Restaurant has wowed locals and visitors for years with instagram worthy drinks served in all manner of theatrical vessels. While Mr Cambray's Curiosity, with it's multitude of uniquely themed rooms, promises to add a bit of panache to your cocktail evening.
