Be inspired by the visual art on display throughout, each painting and artwork is a replica that has been created of pieces in The Wilson’s collection including a colourful museum donated by The Tate London; the painted door showing legendary Cheltenham grocer Mr Whittern; and photographs and artefacts telling the story of explorer Edward Wilson, after whom the art gallery and museum is named. In the comfortable lounge, wallpaper with a distinctive tulip design has been created, inspired by the Arts and Crafts collection with a 1970s twist, the burnt orange and red colours create a relaxing space.
