Tours and Trails
Stroll around Cheltenham at your own pace, or learn about the history, heritage and architecture with a guide. We have a range of guided and self-guided tours to enjoy in Cheltenham. There are also a number of tour guide businesses, including brewery tours, walking trails, cycling routes and driving the Romantic Road. Read on to be inspired!
Art Galleries & Museums
The Wilson Art Gallery & Museum regularly offer guided tours on topics such as current collections within the galleries, and the Arts & Crafts Movement. They are also the meeting point for a number of other tours including the Curry & Colonels Tour.
The Holst Victorian House is home to everything Gustav Holst, including the piano he used to compose 'The Planets'. The museum offer guided tours booked by appointment.
Guided History Tours
Tour & Explore offer a personal Blue Badge Tour Guide experience including guided walking and tours around Cheltenham for groups and individuals.
Ogbow Tours, run by Owen Bowles, another informative Blue Badge Tour Guide, offer guided audio walking tours using the Voicemap App that can be downloaded onto a mobile phone. The audio tours provide map directions and the audio commentary is triggered automatically as you walk the route.

The Cheltenham Promenaders offer guided food tour experiences including a Curry & Colonels Tour which explores Cheltenham's links with an Indian Raj during the Regency Period and a Regency Tea Tour.
Sibling Gin Distillery offer gin fans the opportunity to take a guided walk around the distillery. Tours last around two hours and include a tour, tasting, light lunch and education on all things gin followed by gin ‘pub quiz’, seasonal gin tastings and G&Ts for everyone.
The Romantic Road - Driving Tour
The Romantic Road takes you out of Cheltenham and into the surrounding countryside, with the option to do one or two routes or both. It's a fantastic drive, with the option for classic car hire or chauffeur driven luxury too!
