Art demonstrations for International Women's Day

Art Union is pleased to welcome local artists Trudi Price and Jo Biggadike, who are going to be demonstrating their work.

Trudi is demonstrating from 10am-12
Jo is demonstrating from 2-4pm,

Jo Biggadike, a Cheltenham-based artist, studied Textile Design at Chelsea School of Art and worked in furnishing prints for eight years. Seeking a more personal approach, she turned to collagraph and linocut printmaking. With a Masters in Illustration (2021), she exhibits widely, capturing emotional connections to landscapes and women's experiences within them.

Trudi is passionate about refashioning old clothes and fabrics. She tutors online classes in hand sewing and embroidery, focusing on sustainability. Trudi has worked with various organizations, including Vision21, teaching upcycling and sewing skills. She runs local workshops and aims to grow her blog into a learning platform.
