Gloucestershire Libraries Summer Challenge

Gloucestershire Libraries are launching a brand new challenge for children this summer.

The Library Challenge aims to encourage children aged three to 12 years old and their families to discover everything their library service has to offer.

Children can find out what their library means to them by completing a range of tasks, including reading any books they choose, taking part in events and getting into nature.

Participants will receive incentives and prizes along the way, with a firm focus on discovering new interests and having fun.

The theme is music and there will be plenty of tuneful fun and excitement to be had, with a whole host of events happening across the county.

They will include interactive theatre performances from the Everyman, instrument crafts and musical workshops highlighting a range of different musical genres.

Joining The Library Challenge is free and all 40 libraries across the county will be taking part.
