The Cheltenham Festival is back from 11 - 14 March, bringing thousands of racegoers to the town. But did you know that Cheltenham town centre is actually at its quietest during race afternoons?

While the crowds are at the racecourse, it’s the perfect time for locals to enjoy a relaxed shopping trip, a beauty appointment, or a leisurely lunch with friends—without the usual hustle and bustle!

Free Parking

Enjoy free parking at two council-run carparks - Town Centre East and Sherborne Place ​​​​​​from 12pm - 8pm, Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 March, thanks to Cheltenham BID and Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce.
