Downstairs in this lovely Cotswold stone farm cottage there is a kitchen, large living room and master bedroom, while upstairs in the eaves is the bathroom and twin bedroom.

Jackdaw cottage, a converted field shelter, is adorned with colourful hangings, artworks, books, boardgames and DVDs.

The cottage has all the usual creature comforts as well as soft blankets, fluffy towels, crisp linen and towelling robes.

Oozing rustic charm, Jackdaw cottage is the perfect spot for exploring the surrounding countryside or just taking it easy while listening to the sounds of nature outside. Set at the end of the track leading from the farmyard there are beautiful views to the hillside villages across the Golden Valley and an abundance of wildlife in the woodland around the cottage.

Outside is an enclosed Cotswold stone walled garden with a barbeque, firebowl and wood-fired hot tub, the perfect spot to lie back and gaze at the stars.

Walk out of the cottage gate, across the field and you are at Brunel’s Jackdaw bridge. From there it is a 20-minute walk to the nearest pub, a quintessential Cotswolds inn, or a 40-minute walk along the canal via a nature reserve to the next pub.

Closer to home is a farm shop deli complete with a drive-through café while you can order hampers in advance from Westley Farm or pick up essentials including fresh eggs from the farmyard.
