The Number 8 is a Victorian home located in central Cheltenham which has recently been completely refurbished. Within easy walking distance of Cheltenham College, Hospital & Sandford Park Lido as well as a huge choice of bars & restaurants.
Located in the centre of the Cotswold town of Cheltenham, famous for its historic Regency buildings & Racecourse on a quiet leafy side street visitors can enjoy being within fifteen minutes walk of all the major attractions including Montpellier shopping, restaurants & bars & The Suffolk Square area of independent shops & cafes. Five minutes walk through Sandford Park takes you into The High Street with all the major retailers & from there to The Promenade for the monthly farmers market & The Wilson Museum & Art Gallery. There are two theatres in central Cheltenham & a Cineworld as well as the Townhall where concerts are held regularly. Enjoy the wide streets, gardens & parks, The Holst Museum & The Pitville Lake & Pump Room.
Stay at the Number 8 Cheltenham for one of the well-known festivals or as a centre for exploring the Cotswold towns & walking trails. Cirencester is 40 minutes drive away & Stratford only one hour. Bath & Bristol are both easy day trips by train from here & Birmingham is also only 45 minutes by Intercity train. Cheltenham is only two hours direct from London Victoria station by National coach.
The Number 8 serve breakfasts cooked to order using local ingredients & served in the Dining Room overlooking a pretty walled garden. The owners can offer a secure garage for bikes & advise on local cycle routes in the Cotswolds villages, gardens & attractions. They are avid bikers and walkers and have walked The Cotswold Way so can recommend joining the Cotswold Volunteer walking groups which are free & explore the surrounding hills & valleys.
