The festive season at Cheltenham Ice Rink officially commenced last night with a grand opening. Located in the heart of the spectacular Imperial Gardens.

A once in a lifetime free community event, The Holst 150 Birthday Party, is taking place on the 21st September 1-6pm in Imperial Gardens and you are invited to join the celebrations!

Cheltenham’s BIG Museum Project is inviting you to transform the collections galleries of The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum.

Summer is in full swing at The Brewery Quarter, offering a packed schedule of family-friendly events, including meet & greets with popular characters.

This unique event will feature an impressive lineup of the railway’s home diesel locomotive fleet, including visiting Sulzer Type 2 / British Rail Class 26 No. 5310, courtesy of the Llangollen Railway.

Cheltenham families are invited to enjoy a fun day out in the park this summer, with lots of free activities and entertainment on offer.

The art trail will see more than 30 majestic lions individually decorated by artists taking to the streets of both Cheltenham and Gloucester next year.

The day is set to be an extra special celebration, with birthday cake firmly on the menu, as it also marks the beginning of her 50^th year as the castle’s esteemed Chatelaine.

A new survey inviting people to share their views on the type of physical activities they enjoy, where they take place and if there are any barriers that may prevent them from exercising.

Last year’s event welcomed 800 new arrivals, the biggest of its kind in the UK, and 2024 promises to be equally as exciting with 828 lambs and 61 kids expected this spring.

With awe-inspiring events, fabulous festivals, historic milestones and famous faces all set to grace Cheltenham this calendar year, 2024 is looking set to be a monumental time for The Festival Town.
