Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park, the popular Gloucestershire family attraction renowned for its commitment to rare breed conservation, is thrilled to welcome back visitors for the 2025 season.
The gates re-open on Friday 14th February, just in time for the February half term school holidays with an exciting lambing and kidding event anticipating over 600 newborns— one of the largest of its kind in the UK.
What’s Happening This February Half Term?
Lambing and Kidding – A Celebration of New Life
Experience the wonder of new life on the farm, as the Lambing and Kidding event returns for 2025! Each day, visitors can watch adorable newborns taking their first steps. From Kerry Hills and Herdwicks to the local Cotswold breed, a variety of commercial and rare breed ewes will give birth. Expert-led lambing talks will offer insights into the newborns’ lives from team members on the farm. Later in the spring, don’t miss the chance to participate in bottle-feeding sessions and hands-on demonstrations in the Animal Barn.
Discovery Barn – Curious Minds Welcome
This educational hub lets visitors meet small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs, encouraging young minds to explore, learn, and develop sensory skills.
Adventure Barn & Outdoor Fun – Playtime Galore
Kids can climb, explore, and play in the indoor Adventure Barn, featuring a sandpit, traversing wall, soft play area, and ride-on tractors. Parents can relax with a hot drink from outdoor catering outlets while keeping an eye on the fun. Outdoors, bouncy pillows, swings, sandpits, pedal tractors, and play areas offer endless entertainment, fostering creativity and burning off energy.
Rare Breeds Trail – A Conservation Journey
Animal lovers won’t want to miss the Rare Breeds Trail, home to over fifty breeds across seven species, including Golden Guernsey goats and Highland Cattle. Packed with animal interactions and conservation facts, it’s an educational treat for all ages. Grab a bag of animal feed to ensure you’re a hit with the residents!
Evening Entertainment – Live Music Nights
Celebrate the season with live music nights every Friday evening. Relax in the Ox Shed Restaurant with delicious food and live performances, all set against the stunning countryside backdrop.
