The Spectacle of Light at Sudeley Castle has become a Christmas tradition for locals and visitors alike. The very aptly named event involves exploring a beautiful illuminated trail set around Sudeley Castle’s stunning grounds...
After a successful Alice in Wonderland themed trail last year, the theme this year is J.M. Barrie’s timeless classic, Peter Pan.
We started our evening wrapping up warm in winter woollies before entering the castle grounds. Within minutes we were having a pretend sword fight with Peter Pan, later we took a peek inside the Lost Boys den, had photos taken with Captain Hook, marvelled at the pretty lights and warmed up with mulled wine & hot chocolate. (We love any excuse for a festive beverage!)
It’s not too late to experience this magical evening. The trail is open 12-23 December and reopens after Christmas, 27-30 December. Please note a couple of these evenings have sold out so be quick if you wish to book. You can book your tickets here.
