Queens Hotel – Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea

Celebrate the most important woman in your life with the 'Queen's Perfect Afternoon Tea', which includes a complimentary Mimosa and homemade savoury and sweet morsel and hot drinks. Served from 12 noon until 5pm, 20 February - 22 March. 

Cost - From £26 per person, hot drinks included. Upgrade to unlimited Mimosas for the first hour, £69 per person. 

The Queens Hotel are also offering a Mother's Day Sunday Lunch.

Cost - £25 for two-courses or £30 for three-courses per person. Upgrade for £35 per person for unlimited Mimosas during the first hour of dining. Served from 12 noon until 3 pm.

Pittville Pump Room – Mother’s Day Lunch

Treat your mother to a special three-course lunch in the elegant setting of the Grade I Palladian mansion.

Enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival and a free gift for mum.  Relax over lunch and enjoy the beautiful views over Pittville Park, the special atmosphere will be enhanced with live background music from a pianist on the grand piano.

Cost - £30 per adult. £12.50 for under 14's and £5 for under 5's.

Mother's Day Sunday Lunch at Cowley Manor

Celebrate Mother's Day at the Cowley Manor overlooking the beautiful grounds. Served from 12:30pm - 3pm.

Cost - Two courses for £22.00 and three courses for £28.00 including a gift for Mum!

Sudeley Castle - Mother's Day Afternoon Tea

Treat your mum to a visit to our nearby castle, Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe. Located less than ten miles from the centre of Cheltenham. Here they will be serving an exquisite afternoon tea over the whole of Mother's Day weekend, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March. 

Families can follow in the footsteps of royalty, taking in the spectacular castle and gardens in all their spring glory, before enjoying a sparkling afternoon tea in the Castle Kitchen at 3pm.

With a glass of prosecco on arrival, the menu will feature an array of locally-sourced, homemade treats that are sure to impress that important lady in your life.

Cost - £35 per adult and £17.50 per child, plus admission to Sudeley Castle or membership. Pre-booking is essential and while the castle closes at 4pm, the Castle Kitchen will remain open for afternoon tea.

Glenfall House - Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea

Indulge in elegant surroundings with an exquisite afternoon tea including a perfectly prepared selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with home-made jam and clotted cream, miniature delectable bite-size cakes, pastries and delicacies.

Complimentary glass of fizz or G&T and a free gift for Mum.

Afternoon Tea sittings available at 12:30 or 15:00 for 2 hours. Booking is essential. Gluten-free and vegan alternatives are available. 

Cost - £35 per person plus Eventbrite booking fee. 

Mother's Day Lunch at Ellenborough Park

Your mum is sure never to forget three delicious courses in the fine dining restaurant at Ellenborough Park.  The Chef has planned a mouth-watering mother's day menu which you can finish off with coffee and petit fours.  All mums will also be presented with a special gift.

Cost - £60 per person.

Shopping spree with a Cheltenham gift card

Treat your mum to a shopping spree by gifting her a Cheltenham gift card.  Launched by the Cheltenham BID, the Cheltenham gift card can be used by over 100 Cheltenham stores.  It is a town-wide initiative which allows you to preload a mastercard-based plastic card with cash.  Unlike other gift cards, this one has a focus on local, and includes a large number of independent, unique retailers who are only present in Cheltenham, and / or who don’t accept any other gift card.  

Mums go free at Cotswold Farm Park

Treat your mum to a day out she will never forget at our local Farm Park!

The farm park understand the wonderful and crucial role mothers play in rearing their young, so Mother's Day falls at the perfect time. They are right in the middle of lambing season, which means you'll have the chance to meet lots of fluffy newborns and their proud mothers.

Cost - To celebrate, Mums go free with each full paying admission – just select the dates of 21st or 22nd March on the tickets page and add your free Mum tickets alongside your paying admissions – Limited spaces available. Members can bring Mum along for free too. One free Mum ticket per valid member.

Mother's Day Flower Arrangement Class

Make your own hand-made gift for your mum, or come as a pair for some quality time together create a gorgeous hand tied bouquet.

Make a Mother's Day card out of recycled paper!

And last, but not least, something a little unusual... Take your children to make recycled paper to produce thoughtful Mother's Day cards this year.  This unique experience is taking place at Cheltenham Science Centre who are hosting a special drop in STEM club.
