From today, Monday 29 March, we welcome groups of up to six people, or two households (a household can include an existing support bubble, if eligible), to enjoy our parks & gardens; outdoor sport facilities and organised outdoor sports.

The playgrounds shown above have been open throughout the third national lockdown. Visitors can now enjoy outdoor sports facilities in Cheltenham too.

You should stay 2 metres apart from anyone who is not in your household or support bubble where possible, or 1 metre with extra precautions in place (such as wearing face coverings) if you cannot stay 2 metres apart. Government guidance can be found on www.gov.co.uk website.

Cheltenham green spaces remain open for you to use and all facilities have re-opened.

To stay safe, you must:

  • Take hygiene precautions when you are outside
  • Wash your hands as soon as you are back indoors
  • Keep at least two meters apart from anyone outside your household or support bubble at all times
  • Take hand sanitiser with you when you set off in case there are no handwashing facilities

What's open:

  • All parks and green space
  • Cafes in Pittville Park, Montpellier Gardens, Hatherley Park and Burrows in Leckhampton for takeaway service only
  • Toilets in Pittville Park and Montpellier Gardens
  • Fishing at Pittville Park
