After six years of waiting, the World Cup is back! Discover which Cheltenham pubs will be broadcasting the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Support the England football team surrounded by fellow football fans and catch all the action of the world’s greatest football tournament right here in Cheltenham.

The World Cup kicks off on Sunday 20 November. Qatar, the host nation, will be home to four weeks of thrilling football. The first match is Qatar against Ecuador, England play their first match against Iran on Monday 21 November, with kick off at 1pm (GMT); second match against USA on Friday 25 November at 7pm and their last fixture in the group stage against Wales on Tuesday 29 November 7pm, which is sure to be an exciting watch!

Another very popular town centre sports bar which is sure to attract large crowds of football fans.

Located on Crescent Terrace, opposite the Royal Well Bus Station. The large HD screens and special offers on drinks are sure to be a hit over the next four weeks.

Located just off the A40 in Charlton Kings. Dunkertons are planning to show all the England matches in their Taproom, kitted out with a newly installed cinema size wide screen with fully immersive surround sound experience, offering a more thrilling and realistic match experience. They recommend that you book a table in advance. No upfront payment required, simply complete the booking on their website. Walk ins are welcome but a pre-booking guarantees you the best seats in the taproom. Football fans can look forward to indoor wood burners, award-winning cider or lager if you prefer, and tasty street food from the Bombay Street Food Co., Sourdough Pizza Co., and Ronnie’s. 

The Lansdown

Located just a short walk from Montpellier, offering the chance for supporters to watch the games on several screens.

The Plough

Prestbury residents will flock to their traditional village pub, The Plough Inn, on Mill Street. Matches will be broadcast from the Garden Room.
