Start and end your racing day on good form at The Brewery Quarter. From breakfast through to late night entertainment we've rounded up the highlights you can expect during The Festival 14 - 17 March 2023.  

The Brewery Quarter prides itself on being the 'one-stop shop where you can shop-dine-stay and play' in Cheltenham.  Throughout the four days of race week the bars and restaurants will be offering fantastic racing dining offers and events. Outside in The Brewery Quarter you’ll find live music, morning and night.  In the morning D’Artagnan will be playing fun and upbeat tunes to get you into the festive spirit, whilst in the evenings from 7 – 9:30pm the ever popular Camilla will be here belting out everyone’s favourite hits on the Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, with The Mark Walby band rocking things up on Thursday and Friday nights.

Race Week at The Brewery Quarter, Cheltenham

THE BOTANIST

A racer’s favourite, The Botanist will be open from 9am for breakfast, serving full English breakfast and a range of other breakfast options.  For the Guinness lovers, enjoy a cold pint from their special races’ week bar, which will be open for breakfast then later after the races, in addition to their usual fabulous cocktail, wine, beer and cider offer.

Enjoy a variety of live music each day, with duos playing from 5-8pm then trios playing from 8-11pm.  On the Friday and Saturday nights a DJ will follow to keep the party going.

If you’re coming the night before the races, on Monday 13 March The Botanist will be hosting one of their ever-popular nights of musical bingo – this particular session racing funds for a race related charity.  The bingo itself is free to take part in, but all donations are welcome.

BREWDOG

The newest bar within The Brewery Quarter, Brewdog, which opened the week before last year’s races, will be looking forward to welcoming punters for brunch from 9am-1pm. Prices are typically around £10.95 for a full English. Or you can go Bottomless for £30 and for 90 minutes enjoy brunch served with unlimited headliner beer or Prosseco.

The bar will be showing the races every day from their two 63 inch screens which can be seen wherever you’re sat in the bar.  On Friday, listen out for live music with the band Taking Names from 8:30pm.   Open til the early hours.

BREWHOUSE & KITCHEN

Open from 9am, serving their popular full English along with a great selection of drinks and beer brewed on site, Brewhouse & Kitchen has many regular race customers who come back year after year for some of the award winning pub’s great hospitality.

They’ll be showing races every day from the projector and three TVs around the bar. Enjoy and good dance and sing along to the lively band Rio, will be playing a variety of popular covers from rock to pop. From early evening through to late.  Open until 11pm Tuesday – Thursday, then ’til midnight Friday and Saturday.

COSY CLUB

A popular place in Cheltenham for breakfast, already almost fully booked in their dining room for breakfast.  However, they will be serving walk ins for bacon and sausage sandwiches, along with the veggie and vegan equivalent.

After the races enjoy the lively, warm Cosy atmosphere and sample some of their delicious food – including their popular 28 day aged 10oz ribeye steak, or some of their vast selection of popular cocktails such as a pornstar or espresso martini.  Open every night til late.

THE ALCHEMIST

Open from 9am, serving their Races Brunch.  The deal includes a cocktail plus a dish off the brunch menu for £18 – or you can swap for a glass of champagne for an extra £2. The Alchemist’s boundless brunch will be available on the Saturday only, which includes 3 cocktails and brunch dish for £28.  The Alchemist recommends The Full Alchemist – a hearty full English breakfast – with vegetarian options and vegan options available.

Afterwards return for a party atmosphere, with a DJ playing Tues – Thurs from 6-midnight, from 7pm-1am on Friday, then 9pm-2am on Saturday.  The venue will be open each night until the early hours.

FIVE GUYS

The burger you love, your way!  With 15 different toppings to choose from, succulent burgers made with Scottish beef, hand cut chips (and lashings of them), and a delicious selection of milkshakes, Five Guys is the perfect fast-food treat before you head on for more fun.

FLIGHT CLUB

Opening every day for breakfast from 9am, toast your wins with Flight Club’s Gold Cup sharing Trophy – or start off Ladies Day in style with their Lady Luck brunch.  Available on 15th March from 9:30am – 11:30am.

You’ll spend two epic hours playing Social Darts, enjoying Prosecco *and* bottomless pizza. It’s the perfect beginning to the day ahead that’s guaranteed to fill you with unexpected, ridiculous, joy!

HUB BOX

During race week Hub Box will be open from 9am and serving up its full Cornish breakfast in the morning.   Using the very best Cornish and Devon-sourced ingredients for a slap up hearty breakfast, including sausage, bacon, egg, hash brown, beans, mushroom and sour dough bread.  Not forgetting veggies, there are options with guacomole and halloumi or vegan bacon.

Return after racing to sample their amazing selection of awesome burgers, loaded fries, mac ‘n cheese, along with cocktails and craft beers.

MOWGLI

For lovers of Indian Street Food, you’ll find a steaming selection of colourful dishes perfect for sharing, tapas style. Delicious recipes, inspired by owner Nisha Katona’s family upbringing are served on small plates, with 2-3 plates recommended per person.  Enjoy chatbombs to start, accompanied by Indian beer or a delicious cocktail.

NANDO’S

If you want good food served fast, Nando’s is for you.  Offering everyone’s flame grilled Peri Peri chicken plus plenty more, Nando’s is the perfect venue if you’re wanting to grab some food fast before heading elsewhere in The Brewery Quarter.

PHO

Pho offers the perfect hangover cure!  Whether you’re only moderately recovering from the previous day’s celebrating, where you can enjoy delicious healthy smoothies packed full of fresh ginger, mint, lime, apple and coconut water – or you’ve a full-blown hangover (time for a spicy curry or Pho’s signature steamy spicy noodle broth), Pho packs a punch with it’s amazing Vietnamese Street Food.

SOHO COFFEE

SOHO Coffee on the High St side of The Brewery Quarter will be offering breakfast baps, delicious (and strong!) coffee plus a range of other quick bites.  From salads to freshly made cakes there’s plenty of choice to either grab and go or sit in and enjoy.  Open from 8am.

SON OF STEAK

Steak lovers unite! Try not to drool…From succulent steaks, hand-picked from British and Irish farms, to Bumbu Bali marinated chicken, there’s something for every belly. Want more? Good job they’ve got loads of mouth-watering burgers as well. They’ve even got stuff for vegans too! Plus all of the chips are hand-cut in the kitchens, every day. Just in case that sweetens the deal.

STARBUCKS

Our popular coffee shop will be open earlier for race goers to nip in for their caffeine fix, with a great selection of coffees, tea, smoothies, Frappuccino, iced teas and more.
