Sudeley Castle is hosting Halloween events for all ages this October – from a mythical daytime trail to a spookier nighttime route and exclusive guided ghost hunt tours, there’s something for everyone this Halloween.

Visitors can expect to experience a spellbinding Halloween adventure, taking place from 26th October – 3rd November (inclusive), with a mythical Medieval Monster trail around the castle grounds to encounter friendly Medieval characters that will ignite the imaginations of little ones and leave them spellbound.

Halloween activities at Sudeley Castle

Every day, five mystical medieval characters will be waiting to be discovered, along the interactive castle trail. Visitors will be encouraged to join in the fun by dressing up and taking part in a Medieval Monsters ball in Sudeley's Orangery, before continuing the trail to discover the remains of a lost Medieval Village along Sudeley’s haunted Ha-Ha with a team of archaeologists from Dig Ventures.

For three special dates (27th, 29th, 31st October), the castle grounds will be transformed into a spooky trail between 3-5pm. As the afternoon light begins to disappear, smoke and spectacular special effects created by Chase Lane fireworks will bring a special atmosphere to the ancient castle grounds. Spook seekers can expect crackle and fizz, and experience Sudeley Castle as they’ve never seen it before as they are transported to a Halloween journey back in time. All included with general admission.

For the first time, bone-chilling, evening ghost tours can be experienced around Sudeley's haunted castle grounds. Visitors will be taken to the location of Sudeley's top ghost sites around the castle grounds on this spine-tingling lantern-lit tour. Thrill seekers will encounter the ancient ruins and learn about Sudeley's many known ghosts, including the Lady in Green, the strict Victorian housekeeper and many more historic stories within the nocturnal atmosphere of the castle.

The tours will take place on 29th, 30th and 31st October from 6.30pm and will cost £40 per person. This ticketed experience includes a warming spiced mulled cider reception in the Castle Coach House following the tour.

Visitors can also enjoy everything Sudeley Castle usually has to offer, including the Tudor history exhibitions, ten award-winning gardens that will be displaying beautiful autumnal colours, the adventure playground, and delicious treats from the Castle Coach House.
